The Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada's Child Care Development Fund (ITCN CCDF) is offering several quality enhancement initiatives to support child care providers in improving learning environments, expanding culturally responsive programming, and strengthening developmental opportunities for children.
Providers may apply for one or more initiatives for which they are eligible. Approval is subject to eligibility, demonstrated need, available funding, and ITCN CCDF review.
Application Deadline
All Provider Quality Enhancement Initiative requests must be submitted to ITCN CCDF no later than September 16, 2026. These initiatives are not cash grants. ITCN CCDF will purchase approved items directly on behalf of participating providers.
Due to the limited implementation and purchasing timeframe, providers are encouraged to submit requests as soon as possible. Late or incomplete requests may not be considered.
How the Initiatives Work
Step 1: Submit Your Request by September 16, 2026: Complete one application and select the initiative(s) your program would like to participate in. Providers may request support through multiple initiatives if they meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
Step 2: Identify Your Program's Needs: For each selected initiative, identify the supplies, materials, equipment, curriculum, or other resources needed. Providers may include product links or examples when available.
Step 3: ITCN CCDF Reviews Requests: Requests will be reviewed for eligibility, allowability, program need, reasonableness, available funding, and alignment with the purpose of each initiative. Approval is not guaranteed.
Step 4: ITCN CCDF Orders Approved Items: These initiatives are not cash grants. Providers will not receive funds directly and should not purchase items with the expectation of reimbursement. ITCN CCDF will purchase all approved supplies, materials, equipment, and resources directly.
Step 5: Items Are Shipped or Delivered: ITCN CCDF will coordinate the shipment or delivery of approved purchases to participating providers.
Step 6: Put Your Resources to Use: Providers will incorporate the approved items into their child care program consistent with the purpose described in their application.
Step 7: Follow-Up: Providers may be asked to submit photographs, implementation updates, inventory information, or other documentation showing how the resources are being used to enhance child care quality.
Important: Because ITCN CCDF is responsible for purchasing all approved items, providers should provide complete and specific requests. ITCN CCDF may substitute comparable products based on availability, pricing, shipping timelines, procurement requirements, and program needs.
